DP Fame

Not Fat-Free

My Jeans tells me that every morning

You don't need to remind on Facebook.

Call me a Foodie or Fatty

The Fact remains that I will never stop eating.

I'm not Immortal

My breasts remind me that, which are clearly sagging

Don't bother to type so much on my DP.

Oh Hey, you looked better earlier

Well, my eyes were registering all my life

And I swear on my eyes, I am Noticing!

You don't need to tap on my chin

To spot my fading skin

You really shouldn't bother to scan my hair

And tell me what level of baldness is heading my despair

That 20-Year Old Mirror in my Bedroom,

Lets me know without passing that extra stare

Sleepless Conversations

Shot during dusk in Kathgodam

A coughing night, and an insomniac figure
Walking by the living room, fidgeting for slumber
Moon dispensing the wit
Contending peace, tearing thunder.

Shaking the silence, I compete with the night
Cough & Kick, Cough & Kick
Rib Cage pounces in fright,
Staring in the mirror
I unbutton my shirt
Ah, there it is,
a bird cage ready to blurt
Heart gets noisy
Or maybe nosy?
I wondered what's in there
A dream in making or the one broken?
Hollow & devoid, I wished it stayed cosy.

I seek another life wide awake, not too far
A tonga chimes somewhere,
I guess door left ajar,
I tap the dead clock
And wonder what's the time?
A train makes a ruckus
Honking & chugging in rhyme.

I see stillness within the train
Figures asleep in oblivion
Heart throws a little tantrum
While train rides with no pain.

Abandoned

Born to happiness
Raised to pride
Every boat sailed to tide
Creators smiled
Watched every mile!

The algae was slimy
The fishes, too horny
They’d hit the boat
Danced with Mr. Toad
Teenage on board!

Spilling water washed the edges
The boat was assured –
There’ll be more sledges
Gap gushed, heart choked
Boat sighed, God is one Bloke!

Storm subsides, boat revives
Finds a way back, every hope alive
Neither grasped a breath
Nor focused on death.

The Homeland was grave
The fishes played naïve
Mr. Toad lied upside
Creators were barely in sight
Was there any word like ‘Demise?’

A decade long tale
None bothers,
None remembers,
An abandoned boat descends
Every second is a deep slumber!

Life starts with the coffee and muffin, passes by cherry and yoghurt, dances along cheddar and wine, but eventually aborts when the night is on. Life is dead that night – Kaida!
